Showers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Central province.

Thundershowers will develop at several places in the Eastern and Uva provinces during the afternoon or evening.

According to the Met Dept. strong winds can be expected over the country (particularly over hilly areas) and surrounding sea area at times.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
