The Elections Secretariat Officials say the distribution of forms related to the voters’ lists will be undertaken by the Grama Niladharis who will visit the houses within their Division and hand over the forms.
All Grama Niladharis have already been briefed on this process and instructions have been issued. These activities will concluded by June 15.
The Elections Commissioner’s office requests the voters to duly fill these forms and return to the Grama Niladharis in their Divisions.
The Office further announced that the 2015 Voters’ lists will be used in future elections.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
