Showers or thundershowers will occur at most parts of the island during afternoon and night.
Showers will occur in the Jaffna and Mannar districts during the morning too.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers.
General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
