Mr. Bandula Tilakasena; Additional General Manager of Corporate Strategy, Prof. Atula Senaratne Vice Chancellor of University of Peradeniya and Prof. Ananda Jayawardane Vice chancellor of University of Moratuwa were signatories to the MoU.

Accordingly, it is planned to conduct research activities in the areas of power generation including renewable energy, power transmission and distribution systems and demand side technologies that have scientific, technological and economic significance to the Ceylon Electricity Board, the Universities and to the country.
