Vegetable plants have been dispatched to agriculture officers in each Grama Seva division in the area to be distributed among home gardeners.

The Madurawala Divisional Agriculture Unit has taken steps to start 700 new home gardens in the area on the instructions of the Kalutara District Agriculture Services Department under the 100 day programme.
