Accordingly the staff will be further educated and trained to be more capable to meet future challenges she added. The new Commissioner General further pointed out that the education levels of the staff will be elevated by providing opportunities for them to follow post graduate courses and master's degrees through local or foreign universities.
The new Commissioner General who has a master’s degree in management and several other post - graduate qualifications has been with the department since 1981.
She is the 22nd Commissioner General of Inland Revenue as well as the fifth woman to hold the post.
