He also said that before implementing the new mechanism ideas of university students will be sought and attention will be focused on intelligence development instead of physical development. There is a demand from some students to conduct a programme to develop the knowledge of English Language and maths, he added.
Addressing the media on Wednesday (21) at the University Grants Commission Auditorium, the minister said that decisions taken should be transparent and they should be for the betterment of the students. Therefore he will strive to create transparency between decision makers and students to avoid unpleasant circumstances.
