The primary objective is to develop tourism infrastructure comprising accommodation facilities and other leisure and entertainment related activities in the Delft. Island under the said project.

The project cost is expected to be Rs. 1.0 Billion and the project implementation period is 18 months. The conceptual proposal comprises 40 Chalets; facilities for seminars & workshops, spalayurvedic treatment (wellness center), specialiity restaurants, upmarket shopping; golfing. horse breeding & riding: swimming pool; etc.

The project will also facilitate biking, bird watching, home gardening, etc., to widen more participation of the local community in the project.

Being an eco-friendly tourist resort, the project is to be designed to harness alternate energy sources for heating water and generating electricity with a near zero carbon footprint.
