One of the objectives of Bim Saviya programme is to offer an universally accepted title certificate to people's land.  Under the Bim Saviya project, each and every data will be computerized after surveying all lands and affirming the accuracy under the supervision of the state and a web site will be developed including all the data on lands by Ministry of Land and Land Development.

Special facilities granted by the new title certificate developed with modern technology, instead of old land deed:

When purchasing a land, all the information pertaining to the ownership and the exact extent of the land etc could be obtained at place where you are;

While obtaining a bank loan keeping a land as a security or declaring your assets, relevant company can obtain correct details at that instant itself and thereby your requirement is addressed at the same time.;

If someone abroad expects to purchase a land in Sri Lanka he or she can obtain correct and real information through internet;
