It is proposed to develop a walkway in the Somaweera Chandrasiri public play ground owned by the Kesbewa UC. Architectural drawings have been completed by the UDA and the estimated cost is Rs. 2.18l million.
The required funding for the above development project is expected to be obtained from the Ministry of Economic Development through the District Secretary Colombo from the budgetary provision made for the year 2014.
UDA expects to implement this project through contractors and also with the manpower assistance of Sri Lanka Army. (ST/KH)
