The handing over of housing assistance to Divi Neguma families of the Kalutara District took place in Kalutara under the patronage of Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena. Among those present were officials of the Divi Neguma Department and people’s representatives of the area.

The granting of housing assistance to 1000 Divi Neguma recipients of the Udugama Zone in Baddegama took place under the auspices of Deputy Minister Nishantha Muthuhettigama. Many people’s representatives of the area and officials of the Divi Neguma Department were present.

Divi Neguma recipients within the Mahiyangana Divisional Secretariat Division received housing assistance at the Cultural Centre in Mahiyangana. It took place with the participation of the Member of Parliment Thenuka Vidanagamage.

The Indigenous community in Dambana also received the Divi Neguma housing assistance. Ten million rupees was distributed among 378 recipients. Goods for livelihood projects were also distributed among the recipients of houses.(PRIU/KH)
