The South and South East Asian Nations (SASEAN) Defence Chiefs' Dialogue, which is a pioneering initiative will be held for the first time in Colombo on November 27 - 29.
The objective of the Dialogue is to promote regional peace and stability through mutually beneficial dialogue and cooperation.
It is an endeavour, which will encourage countries to find solutions for common issues while providing a support mechanism for countries to peacefully absolve their disputes through constructive dialogue rather than creating instability or distrust.
