With the dawn of Unduwap Full Moon Poya Day on December 6 Sri Pada season 2014/2015 will commence and it will end on Vesak Full Moon Poya in May 2015 and the development projects in the Sri Pada route and in the Sri Padasthana have been implemented to provide facilities to pilgrims.
The casket of relics and the statue of Sumana Saman deity will be taken in a motorcade from the Galpottawala Sri Pada Rajamaha Vihara to the Nallathanniya Sri Pada Dharma Centre on December 7.
