President Mahinda Rajapaksa is scheduled to declare open two Mahindodaya Technical laboratories at the Vishaka college and Dharmashoka Maha Vidyalaya in Bandarawela today (13) at 3.00 pm and 3.45 pm respectively.
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, each of the new laboratories include a science laboratory, mathematics laboratory, language laboratory comprising 20 computer units, a distance education unit and an information and communication laboratory comprising 40 computer units and a Nenasa unit.
Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena, ministers and officials are also scheduled to attend these events. (Special Reporter/HC)
