The inaugural ceremony of granting subsidies to the Kegalle District tea small holders for water and soil conservation in tea lands, as proposed by Pressident Mahinda Rajapaksa, under the Budget Speech 2014 in order to develop the plantation economy was held under the patronage of Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa on Wednesday in Kegalle Town Hall.
