The Department of Registration of Persons will commence Mobile services from today, to issue National Identity Cards speedily, in connection with the Uva Provincial Council election. The mobile services will be held from Monday to Saturday, this week.
The mobile services will be conducted at Divisional Secretariat Offices of the Badulla District, Applications to issue identity cards will be accepted at those offices.
Accordingly the services will be available on 25th August at Passara Divisional Secretariat, on 26th Ella, on 27th Rideemaliyadda, on 28th Kandaketiya, on 29th Welimada and Hali Ela and on the 30th at Hali Ela Divisional Secretariat. (KH/ST)
