Thirty eight (38) Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) personnel including 16 from the 4th Fast Attack Flotilla and 22 from the Special Boat Squadron joined the training programme. The course comprised of four (04) trainers of NSWU One. The programme was held as a part of mutual understanding and agreements for the training and support requirements of both countries.
The five days module mainly focused on some essential elements of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), mission planning and detainees handling techniques under critical situations. The module helped to develop the professional skills and to exchange knowledge between personnel of NSWU One and SLN upon the Combat Situations.
Mementos were exchanged between SL Navy personnel and US Navy, in appreciation of the service rendered by US trainers in the course.
