Parallel to the 2015 Deyata Kirula Programme, the Matara General Hospital, the Matara Judicial Complex and the District Secretariat will be relocated at the Labimawatta Deyata Kirula Development site. The constructions are scheduled to commence shortly. The relevant funds have already been allocated.
The Deyata Kirula Exhibition will be held in Kotawila, Matara on a land extent of 144 acres, and at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Vidyalaya premises in Meddawatta, Matara, which has a land extent of 24 acres.
Rapid development in the Districts of Galle, Matara, Hambantota and Ratnapura will take place under the Deyata Kirula Development Program 2014-2015 implemented parallel to the Deyata Kirula Exhibition.(ST/KH)
