Sri Lanka Transport Board has started a program to computerized whole office system to provide efficient service to the public says chairman of the board Ramal Siriwaradana.
Speaking to the Government official news portal News.lk Mr. Siriwaradana said that under this program 1700 members of the staff already have been trained at the Vocational Training Authority and another batch of 1700 will be trained during this year.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
News.lk publishes in three languages – Sinhala, Tamil and English.
