Due to the atmospheric disturbance in the southwest Bay of Bengal to the East of Sri Lanka, the showery condition and the cloudy skies are expected in the Northern half of the island today (10th Nov.), Met. Department said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces.
Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.
Heavy falls (above 100 mm) can be expected at some places in the Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.
