Prevailing showery and cloudy conditions are expected to continue further and fairly strong winds can be expected over the island and surrounding sea areas during the next few days, said Met Department today(13th Oct.).
Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Northern provinces and in the Anuradhapura, Galle and Matara districts.
Fairly heavy falls (about 75-100 mm) can be expected at some places.
Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.
