A two-day awareness seminar was held for people residing in the lands owned by Land Reforms Commission without deeds in Balangoda, Imbulpe, Kahawatta, and Elapatha Divisional Secretariat Divisions under the patronage of Lands and Parliament Reforms Minister Gayantha Karunathilaka to provide them the deeds.
Some of the families residing in the lands owned by the Land Reform Commission received their deeds from the minister on the occasion.
The program which was started from Galle will be held in every district island-wide in the future to solve the land issues of the people.
