At present there are English text books for students of Grade three and above and these books are introduced to give a sound knowledge of English from Primary years.

The Education ministry is exploring the possibility of providing a CD with the text book to make education interactive and interesting. Plans are underway to implement this as a pilot program.

This will be carried out to increase the literacy among children and also promote new learning methods.
