National Building Research Organization (NBRO) due to the rainfall within the past 24 hours, which exceeded 75 mm, has issued landslide warning for Ratnapura, Kalutara, and Nuwara Eliya districts.
The warning issued today (27th Sept.) at 04.00 a.m. is effective for 24 hours.
NBRO requests civilians in these areas to be watchful on the possibility of landslides, slope failures, rock falls, cutting failures and ground subsidence if the rains continue.
