A special workshop was also held under the 'Divi Neguma' program with the participation of 118 selected self-employed Samurdhi beneficiaries.

The job fair was held aiming at the unemployed youth in Colombo with the participation of around 70 state and private sector institutions.  Also a trade exhibition by the self employed too was held.

The Export Development Board, National Packaging Centre and the Industrial Development Board gave their fullest cooperation for the event.

Minister for Productivity Promotion Basheer Segu Dawood, Postal Services Environment and Renewable Energy Minister Susil Premajayantha, Minister Jeewan Kumarathunga, Civil Aviation Deputy Minister Geethanjana Gunawardena,also participated.
