The foundation stones were laid for three safety centers for the people affected by natural disasters in Galle District on 1st September by the Minister of Home Affairs Wajira Abeywardhane.
The centers will be established at Sasanalankara Temple in Nagoda, Sasanodharama Temple in Hiniduma, and Calvary Church in Hiniduma at a cost of Rs. 16 million.
The project is implemented by the Ministry of Home Affairs with the funds of Asian Development Bank.
