The bus priority lane was implemeted yesterday (29th Aug.) from Polduwa Bridge to Borella on the Malabe-Borella route from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
In November it will be launched on the route from Borella to Maradana from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., said Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Patali Champika Ranawaka.
Meanwhile, another bus priority lane was implemeted in the route from Nidahas Mawatha to Thunmulla junction from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
