Several spells of showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly heavy falls (about 50 mm) can be expected at some places in the Ratnapura, Kegalle, Matara, Kalutara, Badulla, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Vauniya and Mullaitivu districts.
