The new factories will be set up in Horana, Kalutara, Koggala and Kandy generating nearly 2,000 job opportunities.
Minister Senarathne on this occasion assured that he is ready to provide necessary solutions for any issue related to drug manufacturing in the country.
He said that the government is committed to protect free education and health and they would not be privatized under the Good Governance government. He pointed out that drug manufacturing is not only a business, but a service to the country.
