Mainly fair weather will prevail over most provinces of the island today (15th July).
However, several spells of light showers may occur in the Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Colombo and Kalutara Districts.
Fairly strong winds about 40-50 kmph can be expected in the Southern half (particularly in the western slope of the central hills, Uva Province and Ampara and Hambantota Districts) of the island.
