    Mannar Water Supply Project opens today

    The Mannar Water Supply Project launched by the Ministry of City Planning and Water Supply will be declared open today (7th July) by Prime Minister Ranl Wixkremesinghe in Eluthur, Mannar.

    The project implemented at a cost of Rs. 2,200 million will facilitate over 59, 250 residents in the area.

     

    Financial provisions for the project were granted by the ADB and the Government of Sri Lanka.

     

    Minister of City Planning and Water Supply Rauff Hakeem, State Minister Sudarshani Fernandopulle, Opposition Leaders of Parliament R. Sampanthan, Governor of Northern Province Reginald Cooray, and minister and MPs will also participate.
