The ‘Nila Mehewara’ President Community Service program in Oddusuddan Divisional Secretariat Division in Mulativu District was held at Oddusuddan Maha Vidyalaya on 1st July under the patronage of Minister of Home Affairs Wajira Abeywardhane.
During the program laptop computers were distributed among Additional District Registrars of Mulativu District, 500 spectacles were granted to beneficiaries, food cards were granted for pregnant mothers, and livelihood equipment, wheel chairs and crutches were also distributed among needy people.
The minister also declared open the new auditorium built at the Mulativu District Secretariat at a cost of Rs. 21 million.
