Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western Provinces.

Fairly heavy showers (about 75mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in Kegalle, Rathnapura and Kaluthara Districts.

A few showers may occur in the North-central Province too.

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected over Northern half of the island and in the Matale, Batticaloa and Hambantota Districts.
