On a request by Coconut Cultivation Board (CCB), Army Commander Lieutenant General Crisanthe De Silva has directed Security Force Headquarters (SFHQs) of Jaffna, Wanni, Kilinochchi, Mullaittivu and the East to cooperate with the CCB efforts and let groups of officers in respective SFHQs undergo training to this effect.

Accordingly, a total of 24 Army Officers, attended a five-day long residential training program at WariyapolaWayamba Training Centre of the CCB from 1 to 5th June.
