Showery and windy condition are expected to enhance over the south-western part of the country due to the likely South-west monsoon conditions, which will be established over the country during the next few days, Met Department says.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central and North-western provinces and at several places elsewhere particularly in the afternoon.
Fairly heavy falls (more than 75 mm) can be expected at some places (particularly in the western, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, Eastern and Central provinces).
