Temples with minimum facilities in Polonnaruwa District were given Rs. 1.5 million each as donations by the government of China yesterday (10th May) under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.
At the event held at the President’s Official Residence the donations were handed over to the District Secretary of Polonnaruwa by the President. Sri Lanka Army will assist with their labor to develop these temples unde the supervision of the President’s Office.
