There is a high possibility of enhancing afternoon thundershowers during next few days, Met. Department said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places elsewhere after 2.00 pm.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershower are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
