The project was completed with technical know-how and expertise of the troops of 2 Corps of Engineering Service (CES) under Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W). Department of Education spent Rs 24.8 million for the construction.

During the opening ceremony, the new shrine of the school was also opened and a stock of schooling needs including stationery was presented to the children. The construction of the shrine and the schooling necessities had been sponsored by private donors.
