Afternoon thundershowers are expected to reduce within the next few days, Met. Department said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces after 2.00 p.m. it said.
A few showers also can be expected in the South-Western coastal areas during the morning too.
Meanwhile, today, the sun will be directly over Bambalapitiya, Waga, Malimboda, Welimada, Badalkumbura, Dombagahawela and Pottuvil at about 12:13 noon.
