Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western, Uva and Southern provinces after 2.00 p.m.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places elsewhere particularly after 2.00 p.m.
Fairly heavy falls (more than 50 mm) can be expected at some places.
A few morning showers can also be expected in the Western and Southern coastal areas.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
