The team headed by John Meewella met Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Minister Dr.Rajitha Senarathna and had a discussion. The research will be carried out together with the Apeksha Caner Hospital and special attention will be paid to blood cancer.
Minister Dr.Senarathna explained about the treatment and the support given to cancer patients.
Health Ministry secretary Anura Jayawickrama also participated.
