The newly installed facility is capable of providing safe drinking water for 3,250 students, 138 teachers and 28 non-academic staff members of the school.

The financial contribution for the installation was given by the Navy’s Social Responsibility fund and the Sri Lanka Navy’s Research and Development Unit provided their expertise. 

So far, Navy has installed a total of 113 RO facilities across the country thus far facilitating over 50,455 families and 43,850 students with safe drinking water provided free of charge.
