Rainy condition over the island is expected to further reduce within next few days, Met Department predicts.
A few morning showers can be expected in the Western, North-western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places over the island except Northern Province after 2.00 p.m.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expressed and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
