Northern Central Province recently initiated the online issuance of vehicle revenue license (e-revenue license).
It is a joint effort by the Department of Motor Traffic and the Northern Central Provincial Council with the technical assistance of ICTA.
Governor of NCP P.B. Dissanayake, and the Chief Minister Peshala Jayarathne also participated in the launching ceremony.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
News.lk publishes in three languages – Sinhala, Tamil and English.
