Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, Uva, and Southern provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur today elsewhere particularly after 2.00 pm.

Fairly heavy falls (more than 75mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in Western, Northwestern, Sabaragamuwa, Eastern, Uva and Southern provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.

Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
