According to them, the showery condition is expected to enhance as well as in the Eastern and Northern parts of the island from tomorrow.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at most places over the island after 2.00 p.m. Fairly Heavy falls (about 100mm) can be expected in some places, particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces.

Showers may occur in the Northern, Eastern provinces and in the Hambantota district during the morning too.

Misty conditions can be expected in some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.

Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
