Appointment of 101 new dental surgeons to the state health sector was held at the Auditorium of the National Blood Transfusion Service presided by the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Dr. Rajitha Senaratne.
The new appointees will work in both line ministry institutions as well as institutions managed by the provincial health services to improve the oral health services of the country.
24 dental surgeons will work at Line ministry Health institutions, Central province 05, Eastern Province 14, North Central Province 07, North Western Province 13, Northern Province 10, Sabaragamuwa Province 07, Southern province 04, and Uva province 17.
