Several spells of light showers will also occur in the Western, North-Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.

Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the general public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
