Minister of Primary Industries Daya Gamage laid the foundation for the construction of the new bus terminal and the shopping complex in Ampara yesterday (29th Aug.).
The constructions of the new project commenced in accordance with the proposal made by Minister Daya Gamage and the Deputy Minister Anoma Gamage under the financial assistance of the Government of Australia and the World Bank.
The inauguration of this project, implemented under the directions of the Ministry of Provincial Council and Local Government had the participation of Ministers Duminda Dissanayake, and P. Harison.
