He was addressing a gathering of media personnel yesterday at the Parliamentary premises participating in to award the tab computers for Parliamentary journalists.

“Under the project all the school syllabuses are expected to be included into tab computers. Government intends to provide every student above grade nine with a tab computer”, the minister said and added “Steps would be taken to provide every student a tab computer by 2018.”

Nearly 65 per cent of people in developed countries use smart phones and in Sri Lanka it remains around 26 per cent.
